Think you’ve only got one bland, generic setup to go with when making your Polaris Ranger street legal? By no means! In fact, you’ve got a huge range of options to choose from, both in how you want to go about this (piecing together separate components or buying a complete Polaris Ranger turn signal and horn kit), how much work you’re willing to contribute for installation, which features you want, and more. Read on for a taste of the variety that our selection offers.
They may be simple in concept, but that doesn’t mean they’re all the same. Polaris Ranger turn signal kits, as with any UTV, come with a variety of options. For example, just about everybody loves a good plug-and-play kit, as they’re so much easier to install, and with no compromise on quality or durability. Self-canceling turn signals are like the ones you may be used to from most cars, turning off on their own after several blinks to facilitate smooth lane changing. Last but not least, turn signals with mirrors built in are always nice to have, making your blinkers clearly visible from all angles.
Once again, the easiest, cheapest, and most affordable option when it comes to Polaris Ranger horns is to go with a plug-and-play kit. It comes with everything you need for a seamless installation, including a horn, switch, wires, and so on. Now, for those who want to get a little bit more technical for greater control and customization, we do have smart horn kits that allow you to set your own horn sounds, control volume (would hate to drown out those playlists and podcasts!), and other parameters as well. However, these may not be street legal in every instance, which brings us to our final point.
While the vast majority of our Polaris Ranger turn signal and horn kits will enable you to pass as street legal in most jurisdictions, it’s super important to understand that every region can vary. Hence, the best practice is to always double check your regulations before making any commitments whatsoever so you can measure twice and cut once. Have fun out there, and don’t abuse that new horn too much!
